The result is the underlying facial muscles are not only relaxing. But the skin will also begin to smooth out. Furthermore, the benefits from treatment are visible within 3-4 days following treatment. In addition, the results typically last an average of four months. Patients may choose to repeat the procedure for continued improvement. And, results for typically 3 to 4 times per year. During treatment, a cream with local anesthetic could be placed on your skin prior to treatment. Typically, a small amount of BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected into the area of the wrinkle with a very tiny gauge needle.
Recovery Process From Botox
Patients generally return to their normal activities after the procedure. But, they should also follow the post-procedure guidelines. Patients should not only avoid engaging in heavy physical exercise. But they should not apply cosmetics or lay down flat for a minimum of 4 hours after the injections.
